The series is designed for beginners learning Italian in secondary schools and is an adaptation of the Descubre series. The lesson material considers Polish learning needs and is structured to be easily manageable, regardless of the weekly hours allocated to language study. The textbook is divided into three modules, each containing three lesson units and an additional review lesson.

The book is supplemented with audio recordings and transcripts, a communication and grammar appendix, and a glossary.

    Agnieszka Krawczyńska

    I am a graduate of Italian Philology at Jagiellonian University and an experienced certified Italian language teacher at C.K. Norwid XII High School in Kraków. For many years, I have been an examiner for the Italian high school exit exam at both standard and advanced levels. I am also a co-author of a publication by the Central Examination Board, created as part of the Task Bank Development Project, titled "High School Exit Exam: Italian Language, Basic Level. Task Collection. Supplementary Materials for Students and Teachers," CKE 2015.

  • Olga Seneta-Niemiec

    Olga Seneta-Niemiec

    A graduate of the Italian Philology Department at Jagiellonian University, she gained experience as an Italian language teacher in Kraków high schools. She currently works at Z. Wróblewski IX High School in Kraków and at the “Lingualand” Foreign Language School, also in Kraków. She teaches both youth and adults, in individual and group settings. She also collaborates as an Italian language expert with the Regional Examination Board in Kraków and the Central Examination Board.
